Protector of the Bees
I love bees. I love watching them fly from flower to flower, love to hear them humming as they go about their business.
No one is allowed to so much as swat at a bee on my property, and one day I hope to be able to set up some hives out back. Because we all know that bees are pretty darn important.

When I'm not defending them, I like to draw bees (I even used them for one of my budget tracker themes). Rather than just make another cartoon bee, I thought I would draw the mysterious "bee fairy".
This is who, I tell my girls, takes care of the bees, making sure that they always have flowers growing nearby. And we mustn't ever pick the Bee Fairy's flowers, because they are special bee food.
(this has made sure that at least some flowers have stayed in the yard this year!)
